Description	Scale [ca. 1 : 37 045 000]. Covers area from central North America and northern South America to Western Europe and Africa. Compass rose with rhumb lines. Relief shown by pictorially. Bar scale. Includes note in decorative cartouche. -- One of the first printed maps to use the place name "Canada"; other important nomenclature in Canada includes New France ("Nueva Franza") and Montreal ("Othelay"). There is a large lake shown just south of the Saint Lawrence River which does not appear on either Camocio's map or that of his source.
