| Scope and content | Post card sent to Mr. and Mrs. James Rorke on June 25, 1940 from their daughter, Yvonne. The following was written on the back of the post card: ''Dear Dad and Mom, We arrived here about 4:30 p.m., yesterday, Sunday. We went right to the Falls and saw them. They are wonderful. We were going to see them in the night, but it rained so hard we had to give it up. We are going to see the shredded wheat place this morning, then we leave for Font Hill where grandma's step-sister lives. Love, Yvonne.'' |
