| Biography / Administrative History | Anne Charlotte (Forward) Boone (1849-?), oldest daughter of Captain Mark William Forward and Mary (Bemister) Forward, was born on 7 December 1849. Her siblings included Ernest Edward Forward, George William Bemister Forward, John Bemister ''Jack'' Forward and Georgina Eliza ''George'' (Forward) Samways. She married William Boone of Port de Grave on 27 December 1870, and had three children: Evelyn, John and Herbert. Her daughter Evelyn (Boone) Wright (?-1973) married Robert Wright Jr. (ca. 1878-1918) at St. John's on 15 November 1907. They had a daughter, Helen. Evelyn moved to Halifax with her daughter after her Robert was lost on the ''Florizel'' in 1918. She died in Halifax in 1973. |
