Biography / Administrative HistoryMaria Ann (Bemister) Sheppard, daughter of William Willis Bemister and Ann (Howell) Bemister, was born in 1810. She married Rev. Richard K. Sheppard at Carbonear in June 1834 and had nine children. She died in 1896.
