| Biography / Adminsitrative History | Jack Deir, a member of the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps, married Kathleen (Forbes) Deir, daughter of Dr. C.A. Forbes and Irene (Matthews) Forbes, June 11, 1936. They had three daughters: Barbara (born 1937), Judith (born 1942), and Cynthia (1943-1999), a son named John Alexander who was born December 21, 1938 and died February 1, 1939, and two other sons, Glenn and Wayne. Kathleen's daughter, Cynthia (Deir) Lanyon (born 1943) married Walter Lanyon and had two sons, Ronald and Richard Dawe. She died on April 5th, 1999. |
