| Scope and content | Lieutenant-Colonel T. Ashmore Kidd, M.P.P., Grandmaster and Sovereign of the Grand Orange Lodge of North America, and Mrs. Kidd, arrived in Newfoundland at St. John's on October 1, 1931. They visited Conception Bay on October 2, Grand Falls on the 14th and Corner Brook the following day. Therefore it is likely that this photo was taken at Bonavista between October 3rd and the 13th, 1931. Dr. C.A. Forbes is marked by the X, and it appears that Col. Kidd is standing to his immediate right. Mrs. Kidd may be to the right of Col. Kidd. |
