DescriptionAn ash basket belonging to Daphne Pretty of Stephenville. The basket was purchased in Gallants, NL about 65 years ago by Mariah Evens for about four to five dollars. Pretty recalls the women would ride the NL railway in the spring of the year, selling baskets.
