| Biographical Data | Marcus French was born September 24, 1917. He lived in Winterton, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland all his life except for five years between 1941-46 when he served in the Overseas Forestry Unit, assisting the British war effort. Mr. French describes himself as a jack of all trades, working several different jobs including fishing with his father. |
