| Biographical Data | Marcus French was born September 24, 1917. He lived in Winterton, Trinity bay, Newfoundland for all his life except for five years, 1941-46, when he was enlisted in the Overseas Forestry Unit, assisting in the British war effort. Mr. French describes himself as a jack of all trades, having worked several types of jobs, including fishing with his father. |
