Description	Lewis reads a poem he wrote about his niece Margaret, who went for a holiday one January. When she returned the weather was bad, and she thought she would be stuck in Man of War cove where the ferry docks. Lewis went and picked her up in the storm. When they got to Man of War they learned that the ferry had been diverted to Seldom, so he had to go back to Seldom. When they got into the Town of Fogo, Margaret called her family, listed in the poem as Jennifer, Chris, Kay, Calvin, to let them know she was safe.

Biographical Data	Lewis Payne, 85 (b. 14 September 1922) and Bessie Dawe, 82, (DOB Dec ?) live together in Seldom-Come-By. Bessie is from Stag Harbour and Lewis is from the Town of Fogo. Lewis' family is from the town of Fogo, but he is not sure where they were originally from. They both are Anglican. Lewis has one child, Bruce, who is a teacher and owns a store called the 'This and That' store in the Town of Fogo. Lewis' brother is Stewart Payne, the bishop. Bessie has eight children: six boys and two girls.
