DescriptionTranscript: Well, this goes back to 1861 to my great grandfather Moses Pearcey. He died in 1938, he was 77. His wife also, Naomi, was born in 1862 and she died in 1928 at 66... My grandfather Samuel who was born in 1891 and he died in 1954, at 63. His wife was Sarah, she was born in 1890 and died in 1973 at 83. The next one is my father, James Pearcey he was born in 1912, he died in a snowslide here on February 16, 1959, at 47 with his wife Ethel who was born in 1916, she also died February 16, 1959 at 43, at the snow slide here at the Outer Battery. His brother, Robert (James) was born in 1914 and he died in 1996 at age 82. His wife Lillian was born in 1919 and she died in 1991 at 82. There is also anotther and his brother who is still alive today, which is Ernest and his wife. They consisted of three brothers who fished here at the Outer Battery. And back is what is their great-grandfather and father before me... and this is a Twine Store that the family used to spend in the wintertime mending their twine 'cause the fish usually from April up to December and that after that they mended their twine from January up 'til April.
