| Description | Transcript:...in 1975... the first year I was here, there was a huge storm. Big waves coming in over... chain rock, and smashing into all the wharves. And I was looking out the window, and talking to my sister on the phone, and telling her, "Ah, its amazing, the storm out here..." and as we were talking, "Oh there's a huge wave come, really really big one coming in now." So this wave came in, and the wave passed, and as it pulled back, a building floated out into the harbour, right here, right in front of my eyes. And just kind of tipped sideways and was floating along in the harbour. And that building was maybe... 25 feet long, something like that. It was one of the fishing sheds. |
