| Transcript | Beyond the vicious surf, the scrub foreshore, bruised foothills are aligned, then realigned: and sailors swear assuredly thereby that mountains are removed. This northern coast seems uninhabited. No flickered lights by night, no sudden tufts of smoke by day, to disconcert the heart returned, aghast, from broken promises - those shimmered sands, those ripened islands smouldering. That fade like shame below the seared horizon line. Like recollection. Inland here, they say, replenishing the soul sweet rivers rise… |
