AbstractThe war between Great Britain and Spain from the years 1739 until 1748 is discussed at length in these books. Several large naval battles are described, including the Battle of Carthage as well as British involvement in the Netherlands. A brief overview of the political structures in Spain and Britain are also included. These books deal primarily with the naval undertakings of both Spain and Britain during the span of this war.
