AbstractThese volumes are a historical examination of Bronze Age pottery excavated from areas in Britain and Ireland. Chapters discuss British ceramics, ethnographic and historical information, ornamentation, and food vessels. Volume two deals specifically with cinerary urns, pygmy vessels, and other Bronze Age pottery. A discussion of the brachycephalic invaders is also included, along with their contributions to British archaeological finds. A number of photographs are included.
