Description	A short biography of Rev. Oliver Jackson (1887-1937), a Welshman who served with the Methodist / United Churches in Newfoundland. He held positions in Brigus, Freshwater and Bell Island, and was known as a social reformer. In 1931 Jackson was appointed superintendent of United Church missions in Newfoundland, traveling extensively throughout the island until his death by drowning in 1937.
