DescriptionThis is the report of Lord Ammon, who was sent to Newfoundland as part of a parliamentary mission to find the best plan of action to prepare Newfoundland for change in Government post-WWII. The report contains a brief explanation of Commission of Government, the choices for government when the war ended, and outlined the plan for creating 10 areas of civic interest which needed to be addressed by the Commission to improve the quality of life in Newfoundland and prepare it for the change from Commission of Government to self-government.
