DescriptionThis is a reply by the Colonial Secretary of State, Henry Pelham-Clinton, to an address on the French Shore Question made in the Newfoundland Legislature by the Governor of that colony. Pelham-Clinton's reply was in support of the proposed Newfoundland fishery convention, and it's protection of the rights of every party affected by the French Shore Question.
