Document Description
TitleForty years for Labrador
AuthorGrenfell, Wilfred Thomason,Sir,1865-1940
PublisherHoughton Mifflin Co.
Place of PublicationBoston, Mass.
Date1932
DescriptionA rewrite of Grenfell's earlier autobiography, "Labrador doctor", this book contains the same chapters about the missionary doctor's youth and education as the earlier publication, while the rest has been changed completely. Not only had Grenfell completed 15 additional years of service in Labrador, he found that those years had changed his perspective on his life and work, and so felt that a new edition of his autobiography should reflect this new mind set and additional experiences as a doctor in Labrador.
