AbstractThis book is a history of Greece from the period of Alexander the Great until its decline at the hands of the Roman Empire. Chapters include information on Phillip of Macedon, as well as Alexander and his victorious wars against Persia. This text also includes information on the civil war in Greece after the death of Alexander, and discussions on the Greek war with Rome, which eventually resulted in a decline of Grecian power. The ruin of Greece at the hands of barbarians, as well as the fall of Constantinople, are also discussed in depth.
