Title	Julia Maitland; or, Pride goes before a fall
Description	Gilt edges. Blue horizontal-grain cloth. Both covers have a rectangular double border consisting of a wide fillet and within it, a narrow fillet, both blocked in blind. The corners of both front and rear covers are blocked in blind with arabesques. The upper cover has a vignette blocked in gold. The title, centred: '\| JULIA \| MAITLAND \| OR \| PRIDE GOES BEFORE \| A FALLl. \|' is blocked in gold and surrounded by the branches, leaves, buds of a fuchsia and three open fuchsia flowers, which have long stamens. Signed 'JL' in gold as a monogram, at the base of vignette. The title: '\|JULIA MAITLAND \|' is blocked in gold along the spine.
