Finding Aids - Founders' Archive EAD

Encoded Archival Description, commonly known as EAD, is an international standard for creating data that is being used by libraries and archives to describe their archival and manuscript holdings. This data is usually presented as user-friendly finding aids, documents that assist researchers in navigating and understanding the scope and contents of the holdings of the individual collections and fonds that can be found in the library or archives.
