Twillingate Sun



Twillingate Sun. Published 1880-1953
The Twillingate Sun printed local and foreign news, legislative proceedings, serial fiction and advertisements. It claimed to be politically independent in 1886, but supported Whiteway the Liberals, especially in the fall election of 1894. In 1929, it supported Squires and in 1948 was neutral on Confereration. The Sun ceased publication due to financial reasons in 1953.
