Several notes, including: Water works -- Water supply. Includes an index with details such as building type, construction materials, dwelling type and fire hydrant locations. -- "For index to streets, specials, and block numbers, see sheet No. 2" (under title); the index for this edition is not available. As a finding aid, the 1914 index has been included in its place, as some of its information still matches this map edition. The "sheets" listed on the index next to streets and buildings refer to the numbered colour sections on the map.
