The cellar has fallen into complete disrepair with the roof being removed in the early 1980’s for fear that children would get hurt. Today there is a huge evergreen that has grown up over the front entrance. It was built up high into a hillside with three sides surrounded by earth. It has a concrete foundation, and originally had an exterior and interior entrance with a roof made out of wood and sod with steel beam supports. Cellar measures approximately 4.5m x 3m. It was used to store vegetables that the family grew on the land which fed multiple families.
