 Spruce root planter made by Anthony White, Flat Bay Baskets; A spruce root-woven planter constructed by Anthony White of Shallop Cove. This planter now belongs to Jacqueline White Snook of Flat Bay. Materials used are spruce roots with withrod or wild raisin boning, dipped in linseed oil for preservation. 34cmx26cm

390. Price mill lunch basket, Corner Brook
 Price mill lunch basket, Corner Brook Baskets; This mill lunch basket belongs to Larry Chesley Price and was used when he worked in the pulp and paper mill in Corner Brook as an electrician contractor. The basket was purchased for $15 in Humber Mouth, c1980. The basket has been personalized with union stickers, a name plate, and payroll number.

This basket is dyed red/pink, but this is only visible when the lid is taken off the basket. Creator and date of construction unknown. It is possible ash is the material used. 21cmx11cm.

 Downey mill lunch basket, Grand Falls-Windsor Baskets; A mill lunch basket belonging to Junior Downey, Grand Falls-Windsor. Downey worked as a paper maker with the mill from 1973-2009. This basket was constructed by Angus Gunn in 1975 and the material used is birch. A work schedule is affixed to the lid and inside is a locker key. The basket is also personalized with union stickers and Downey's pay roll number.

 Woven trout basket, Tors Cove Baskets; A woven trout basket belonging to Anne Manuel. Made by Gladys Linegar in Tors Cove. Close up of loop and toggle clasp. Loops made from knotted blue nylon string and green wool. Toggle looks to be a hand-carved piece of wood with a notch carved in the middle.

 Woven mill lunch basket belonging to Terry Penney, Corner Brook Baskets; A woven mill lunch basket belonging to Terry Penney of Corner Brook. Penney worked in the mill and the basket was used from 1976 to the present. The creator and exact date of construction are unknown as this was handed down to Penney by a friend. The materials used are plywood and birch. The metal pieces on the handles are the copper bases from lightbulbs, hammered flat. The stickers on the basket came from the hospital, as Penney had to be taken there one day when he took sick at the mill. Penney's payroll number, "4615" is also marked on the basket. 20.5cmx17cmx30.5cm.
