 Plywood lunch basket, Corner Brook Baskets; A mill lunch basket belonging to Bernard Keating which belonged to his father, Sylvester Keating, when he worked in the cement plant. The basket was used from the mid 1950s to the 1980s. Creator unknown, constructed in early 1950s. Materials used are plywood and metal for handles. The handles were most likely added later by Sylvester Keating, as he was a sheet metal worker. 22cmx17.2cmx32.4cm. Inside view of basket.

186. Wells mill lunch basket, Grand Falls-Windsor 
 Wells mill lunch basket, Grand Falls-Windsor Baskets; A woven mill lunch basket belonging to Neal Wells, Grand Falls-Windsor. This basket was used by Wells in the mill from 1946-1962, where he worked as a millwright in the machine shop. This basket was given to Wells by Robert Mouland but the creator, date of construction and materials used are unknown.

This basket belongs to Roy Oke of Corner Brook, who used it in the mill while he worked there in the shipping department from 1945-1988 (45 years credited). Bought from a man in Humber Mouth, NL who made them. The creator's name is unknown, along with exact date of construction and materials used. 20.3cmx18cmx34cm.

188. Thorne mill lunch basket, Grand Falls Windsor
 Thorne mill lunch basket, Grand Falls Windsor Baskets; A mill lunch basket belonging to Sandra Colbourne, Grand Falls-Windsor. This basket was used by Matthew Chesley Thorne, Colbourne's father. Thorne worked in the machine shop in the mill in Grand Falls-Windsor from 1942 until his retirement in 1990. The basket was constructed by Angus Gunn c1950. Material used is broken off hockey sticks. Written on the inside of the lid, in pencil, is a heart with Thorne's wife's name (Marge), his payroll number (1055 4388) and the phrase "sugar my love".

 Woven mill lunch basket, Grand Falls-Windsor Heritage Society, Grand Falls-Windsor Baskets; A mill lunch basket donated to the Grand Falls-Windsor Heritage Society by Jim Bishop. Possibly created by the Peterboro Basket Co. of New Hampshire, c1920. Wood used is Appalachian white ash. This basket belonged to an "E. Bishop" of Grand Falls-Windsor. 22.5cmx19cmx37.5cm

 Round spruce root basket made by Anthony White, Flat Bay Baskets; Two small "half baskets" made by Anthony White of Shallop Cove, c1980. These baskets are made in the Acadian spruce root-woven ribbed basket design and now belong to Mr. White's daughter, Jacqueline White Snook of Flat Bay. Materials used are spruce root, dipped in linseed oil for preservation. 6cmx6.5cmx13cm
