141. Woven mill lunch basket belonging to Terry Penney, Corner Brook
 Woven mill lunch basket belonging to Terry Penney, Corner Brook Baskets; A woven mill lunch basket belonging to Terry Penney of Corner Brook. Penney worked in the mill and the basket was used from 1976 to the present. The creator and exact date of construction are unknown as this was handed down to Penney by a friend. The materials used are plywood and birch. The metal pieces on the handles are the copper bases from lightbulbs, hammered flat. The stickers on the basket came from the hospital, as Penney had to be taken there one day when he took sick at the mill. Penney's payroll number, "4615" is also marked on the basket. 20.5cmx17cmx30.5cm. In this photograph Penney is seen holding the lunch basket the "proper" way, hung on his arm.

143. Woven lunch basket made by Anthony White, Flat Bay
 Woven lunch basket made by Anthony White, Flat Bay Baskets; A woven lunch basket constructed by Anthony White of Shallop Cove. This basket now belongs to Mr. White's daughter, Jacqueline White Snook, or Flat Bay. This basket was constructed c1970 and the materials used are spruce root, withrod or wild raisin boning, a metal clasp and the basket is coated in linseed oil. Mr. White constructed about a dozen of these baskets, which were sold to workers of the local gypsum plant.

This basket was used by Wells in the mill from 1946-1962, where he worked as a millwright in the machine shop. This basket was given to Wells by Robert Mouland but the creator, date of construction and materials used are unknown.

This basket belonged to Thomas Murley and was used in the Bowater paper mill in Corner Brook from 1941 to 1971. He worked as a machine tender on the #7 machine.

Baskets; A woven basket belonging to Liz Hanrahan, which had belonged to her mother (born 1918), who was given the basket by her aunt, Laura Menchington of Conception Bay (DOB unknown). The age of the basket is unknown, but Hanrahan believes it was constructed c1900. The basket was always referred to as "Aunt Laura's berry picking basket".

 L.Barker mill lunch basket, Grand Falls-Windsor Baskets; A mill lunch basket belonging to Louis Barker, Grand Falls-Windsor. This basket was used by Clarence Osmond, who worked with Penney Paving. The basket was constructed by Angus Gunn c1970. Material used is either broken off hockey sticks or pine.
