A single rule, in red, is printed under the title on the title page and under the title of the poem. A dot, in red, is printed below the poem. Bound in green marbled wrappers. Indigo pastedowns with gold free endpapers. This copy has one of three variant bindings, the other two being: gold-flecked coral marbled wrappers; and brown- and silver-flecked red wrappers. Fifty copies.

An acrostic poem with the initial letters, in red, forming the name ASTRID. The title of the poem is printed on the first leaf, between horizontal lines, all in red. This copy lacks a binding but bound copies exist, bound in blue and brown marbled wrappers and having brown pastedown with blue free endpapers.

With one wood engraving of an intertwined circle motif, printed in the centre of the circular title. Christmas 1973.

With two abstract wood engravings of a shoreline printed in black on paper 3.9 x 6.5 cm and mounted on the olive leaves, With nineteen poems: 'Word of Warning', 'Swimmer', 'Returned', 'Sigil', 'Sanctuary', 'Day-dream Reproved', 'Ritual', 'Love', 'Death', 'Threshold', 'Fountain', 'Morning', 'Parting', 'Habit', 'Sleeping Woman', 'Island', 'Edge', 'Figurehead', and 'Undertow'. The half title is on the third front free endpaper. The title on the title page, the titles of the poems, a decorative rule below each poem, and the title of the colophon are printed in red. The 'GP' printer's device, in gold, is printed above the imprint on the title page. Bound in quarter black buckram with coral and orange marbled paper covered boards, with a white paper label, 2.8 x 7.3 cm, printed in black, pasted on the upper cover. Brown pastedown with violet and brown free endpapers. Seventy numbered copies of which this is number 46.

Eighty numbered copies of which this is numbered H-C.

The half title is on the front free endpaper. The title on the title page is printed in purple, as are the titles of the poems and the title of the colophon. The 'GP' printer's device, in green, is printed below the colophon. The binding is quarter black buckram with brown, green, and coral marbled paper covered boards. A variant binding also exists: quarter black buckram with green and white marbled paper covered boards. This copy lacks the white paper label printed in green and black that is pasted on the spine of some copies. Purple pastedown with brown, green, and violet free endpapers. Sixty numbered copies of which this is numbered I.

Bound in beige, blue, and black patterned wrappers, with a paper label printed in black pasted on a green label, 3.1 x 9 cm, pasted on the wrappers. Black pastedown with burnt orange free endpapers. The binding is one of three variant bindings, the other two being: beige, gold and black (or green, white, and black) patterned wrappers. There is also a variant label, in burnt orange.
