101. 1995 (?). ARTICLES OF FAITH 1995 (?). ARTICLES OF FAITH AND IF we do not understand Weil, Simone, 1909-1943--Poetry; Gould, Glenn--Poetry; Chairs--Poetry One sheet of white paper, 22 x 28 cm. Title of poem is printed in upper case Lithos, in red. Immediately below it is a dedication, ‘for Alberto', and an excerpt from Simone Pétrement's Simone Weil A Life, New York 1976, both printed in black. Between the excerpt and the poem is a design (from the font 'African Ornaments') consisting of a horizontal rectangle blocked in violet within which are four concentric rectangles blocked in relief. The poem, in seven stanzas, is printed in black and continues on the verso. Stanza 1 contains a quotation from J. B. S. Haldane's Possible Worlds and Other Papers, London 1927. Below the poem is a design (also from the font 'African Ornaments') consisting of a square, in red, within which are four smaller squares, two blocked in red, the other two blocked chequy in red and in relief. Below this is: ‘Richard Outram', in black.
