These diaries highlight and showcase the profound impact Dr. Rusted had on the medical community in Newfoundland and Labrador in the early days of medicine. Dr. Rusted was well known for performing cleft palate and hare lip repair surgeries. His contributions to the medical field were paramount in advancing and promoting medical services across the province.
