There has lately been no arrival here from this fishery—all the vessels are in for caplin unit. The groater number havo baited in this neighborhood, and hare sailed for the ashing grounds. A large number of bankers were at Mosquito, aud reoeived their Wait supply on Monday 8everal Nova Seotian vessels were among the number. Tlie Rose Mary, bo ionging to J. Steer, E*q., of St John's, and in charge of Capt. John Power of ihia '.own, was there also for bait, this schooner had 200 qtls. on herring bail. Messrs. John Munn <fc Co.'s schooner Industry, dipt. Rarrett, arrived at Spaniard's flay on Saturday last, and hailed for 100 qtls. She took her supplies here yeelerdiy and lett again in quest of bait. Messrs. Duff Ji Bulmer's schooner Argonaut lir.n also returned from the Banks; she has 220 qtls.
