(Special to the Evening Herald.) Cai-e Race, To-day. The schooner " Minnie K.", 93 tons, owned l.v John Aylward, P.E.I., became a total wreck last night. It appears lhat whilst endeavoring to clear nrouud the Cape, a light K. S. E. wiud with dense fog prevailing at the time, a strong tide set in and dragged thc vessel against the shore, where she was instantly broken to splinters. Thc crew narrowly escaped with their lives, saving nothing whatever in the shape of clothing. They left for St. Johu's this m ing overland. Wind to-day W. N. W., fresh breeze, weather fine and clear.
