AN ACT FOR GRANTING TO HER MAJESTY A SUM OF MONEY FOR COS'STItUCTIN'l* A.N'D REPAIRING ROADS, STREETS, AUD BRIDGES, WITHIN THIS COLONY. Streets, and Bridge's therein . AN ACT FOR GRANTING TO HER MAJESTY
A SUM OF MONEY FOR COS'STItUCTIN'l*
A.N'D REPAIRING ROADS, STREETS, AUD
BRIDGES, WITHIN THIS COLONY.
Streets, and Bridge's therein .
Be it therefore enacted by the -rovernor, Legislative Council, and Assembly, in General Session convened, as follows;—
I.—From and out of sash Monies as may from
time to trme rema'ui in tho hands oi the Receiver
(General, unappropriated, there be granted to Her I
Majesty, Her Heirb and Sm-ccssors, the Sum ol Four*
teen Thousand aud Forty Pounds, to be expended
nnder this Act, in the Constructing, Repairing, and
Improving of Main and ether Roads, Streets, and
Bridges, In this Colony, and for defraying all expenses
attendant thereon ; which said Sum shall be distributed and appropriated as follows, that is to say :—
On thc Main Line of Road from Cape Broyle B g
Pond to Trepassey, the sum ot ieven hundred pound*,
to be expended under the direction ot the Board of
Works; out of which Sfevcnty-fvva pounds shall be
expended trom LaManche towards Ray Bulls, under
siipeiintcndance of the Rev. Dean Geary, and twenty
five pounds frost* Buy Stalls towards Burnt Marsh,
under-'the snperintonehince of the Board ot Commissioners.
On the Main Road Worn Topsail to Brigus, tbe
sum of seven hundred and twenty pounds, to be expended under tbe direction of jhe Board ot Works,
as foHows ; the sum 'of three "hundred and fourteen
pounds six shillings and eleven pence between Topsail
and Upper-Gullies, two hundred and five pounds
thirteen shillings and one penny on rue now line between Holyrooel and Turks' Gut Pond and two hundred r>oun |
