Abstract	This book discusses the theory that it was the Norsemen who originally discovered North America. Chapters include information on the Norse sagas, Leif Ericson, and other Norse legends which may suggest that the Norsemen arrived in North America before Columbus. Evidence of the remains of some Viking settlements, including several on the eastern coast of Canada and the United States, is also examined in detail. Some illustrations are included.
