Abstract	This book is a discussion of Greek literature throughout history. Chapters include information on famous Greek poems, stories, and myths. Homer's 'The Illiad' is discussed in great depth, as is much of early Greek mythology. The author attempts to find a link between the important Greek literature in the ancient world, and the ways by which the Greek state was governed, demonstrating that there has been a crucial link between the two throughout history.
