| Abstract | This book was written to supplement a prior book written by Thomas Shaw entitled 'Travels, or Observations &c.' The previous work had received much criticism, thus this book was written as a response. This text includes additions to the original work, such as more information on the travels of the author through Egypt and much of Northern Africa. The cities and cultures along the Nile River are discussed at length, as well as the zoology of the area, along with descriptions of several different species of animals. |
